Gorge Villapando
Fashion Stylist + Fashion Editor
Gorge Villalpando is a Los Angeles–based fashion stylist and editor working across fashion, music, entertainment and culture.
Currently Fashion Editor at Flaunt Magazine, Gorge previously served as US Fashion Editor for Wonderland, Rollacoaster and Man About Town, where he worked across editorial, cover stories and special projects with an international roster of artists, photographers and creative collaborators. His editorial background has shaped an approach to styling that is as invested in character and narrative as it is in fashion.
Gorge began his career working alongside some of the industry’s most influential stylists and editors, including Luke Day, Toni-Blaze, Nicola Formichetti and Hodo Musa. These formative years saw him contributing to major editorial and commercial productions while developing a visual language of his own—one that moves between the polished and unexpected, with a strong instinct for individuality.
Today, Gorge works fluidly between editorial, celebrity, music and commercial image-making. His clients include Kate Beckinsale, Shawn Mendes, Colman Domingo and Rachel Zegler, with his wider body of work featuring talent including Lily-Rose Depp, Lady Gaga and Amy Adams.
He has collaborated with photographers including Ellen von Unwerth, Doug Inglish, Shane McCauley, Pat Martin, Carlos Serrao, Monica May and Meg Young, among others, and has contributed to commercial projects and campaigns for brands and cultural institutions including Versace, Google, Tom Ford and Sundance.
With an editorial eye at the foundation of his practice, Gorge approaches each project as an opportunity to build a world around his subject. His work balances a sophisticated understanding of fashion with an instinct for personality, creating images that feel considered, character-driven and culturally relevant.
