Jordan Millington Liquorice
Photographer + Director
Jordan Millington Liquorice is a photographer, creative director and director working across fashion, beauty, and luxury. Born in Orange County, California, his relationship to image-making began in the darkroom during high school under the guidance of a teacher whose vivid spirit and unconventional energy transformed photography into something emotional, tactile, and alive.
Early experiences assisting celebrated photographers, including Bruce Weber, profoundly shaped his understanding of scale, emotion, and visual storytelling. Inspired to dream larger, he returned to California in his early twenties, building elaborate sets in his grandmother’s backyard and creating immersive photographic environments that would become foundational to his artistic language.
Today, his work is recognized for its cinematic atmosphere, sculptural use of light and color, and emotionally transportive narratives. Whether in the studio or on location, Jordan approaches each project as the creation of a complete world — one capable of moving not only the creative team behind it, but the viewer encountering it. Drawn to heightened emotion, playful drama, whimsy, and human connection, he gravitates toward imagery that feels fully alive: bold in gesture yet intimate in feeling, fantastical yet deeply human. His creative process centers on building environments that evoke sensation, memory, joy, harmony, and wonder.
Jordan guides projects from concept through execution, whether originating the creative vision or bringing an established direction to life with precision and intent. Over the years, he has collaborated with brands including Wiederhoeft, Libertine, Capitol Records, Nemacolin Resort and Katy Perry Collections. His work has appeared in publications including Vogue, Paper, Schön! Magazine, V Magazine, The Daily Front Row, Ladygunn, The Wall Street Journal and Flaunt.
Beyond his commercial and editorial work, Jordan is passionate about fostering creativity, self-expression, and community. A proud supporter of the LGBTQIA+ community, he also collaborates with schools throughout the Pittsburgh area on interactive arts programs that encourage young creatives to explore photography and pursue their artistic passions.
Looking toward the future, Jordan envisions continuing to expand the scale and emotional resonance of his work — crafting imaginative visual worlds for brands that transport audiences and leave behind a feeling of light, peace, beauty, and possibility.
